Code of Practice

Many young parentswho return to learning will seek information, advice and financial support for their childcare under Care to Learn. Young parents like to have someone to talk to about the different issues and problemsproblems that they may face in life generally and as parents. As someone with regular contact with young parents, they may turn to you for advice and support. This Code of Practice sets out the ways in which you may be able to help. It is written specifically for childcare providers, but is also of use to learning providers, support workers, and anybody else in regular contact with young parents.

Childcare Big Picture

The Childcare Big Picture is an eligibility checker, which gives an overview of the eligibility criteria for the LSC and Jobcentre plus schemes that support childcare for parents wishing to enter into learning. The support available is based on the age of the learner and their personal circumstance. All schemes mentioned on the poster are for Ofsted-registered childcare.
